Konfigurasi Proxy Browser Internet Explorer / Microsoft Edge

Perlu diketahui bahwa cache.itb.ac.id menggunakan username INA dan password khusus proxy (terdiri dari 8 digit angka) yang dapat dilihat di Informasi Password Proxy

Panduan setting cache.itb.ac.id

  1. Buka Internet Explorer (Windows 7,8,8.1) / Microsoft Edge (Windows 10)
  2. Klik Tools, atau anda dapat menekan tombol Alt + T jika tombol/icon tools tidak tampil
  3. Klik Internet Options
  4. Klik tab Connections
  5. Klik tombol LAN Settings
  6. Untuk Konfigurasi Otomatis:
    • Pastikan bahwa semua checkbox yang ada di bagian Proxy Server tidak diberi tanda cek
    • Beri tanda cek pada Use automatic configuration script di bagian Automatic Configuration
    • ketikkan http://nic.itb.ac.id/proxy.pac di bagian Address
  7. Untuk Konfigurasi manual:
    • Pastikan bahwa semua checkbox yang ada di bagian Automatic Configuration tidak diberi tanda cek.
    • Di bagian Proxy Server, beri tanda cek pada Use Proxy Server for your LAN, kemudian ketikkan cache.itb.ac.id di kolom Address dan ketikkan 8080 di kolom port.
    • Beri tanda cek pada Bypass Proxy for local addresses
    • Klik pada tab Advanced
    • Pastikan beri tanda cek pada Use the same proxy server for all protocols
    • di bagian Exceptions ketikkan localhost;*.itb.ac.id;167.205.*.*
    • Klik OK

  1. Buka Internet Explorer

  4. Klik tab Connections
  5. Klik tombol LAN Settings
  6. Untuk Konfigurasi manual:

username & password yang digunakan untuk akses cache4.itb.ac.id adalah yang dipergunakan untuk masuk ke https://login.itb.ac.id, jadi bukan password angka seperti yang untuk di cache.itb.ac.id

 

Sekarang anda sudah terhubung ke cache.itb.ac.id.
Anda akan diminta untuk memasukkan Username dan Password Proxy untuk menjelajah Internet. Gunakan password proxy internet anda (terdiri dari angka)
